The city of brotherly love is shrouded under the dark cloud of Comcast where sports fans are held hostage, unable to watch their games on TV unless they pay the ransom. This is ground zero for Comcast which owns sports teams, stadiums, the cable company, and the TV network. Sports Fans Coalition members have shared their stories of marginalization.

While the FCC voted to end local sports exclusives which bar many from watching their sports games in Philly, Comcast continues to fight the order.

Much of the SFC’s work is ahead in Philadelphia, and it will take a grassroots movement of SFC members to sign the petition and speak out in order to combat the entrenched powers that be in this city.
